Aesthetics Rhapsody*
ALRIGHT ALRIGHT. I will BLOG, if not some people will complain again. Haha.
Today's our CFN, I mean Aesthetics Rhapsody. Yup. It's the day which we celebrate racial harmony and everything else on 1 day. For the past years it had always been in the night, which is definately much cooler. Oh well. I won't say that this year sucks but it might have been better at night.
KRANJI! ARE YOU READDDDDDDDY?! exclaimed the Emcee. It was effective alright, as all of us were taken aback by the wild enthusiasm from the emcees. However, the starting performance by Secondary 1 (Folk dances) weren't there to attain our enthusiasm. Then it was followed by the Secondary 2 street dances. Well, they've got to work much harder to catch up with the upper secs man! (Details later)

Afterwards we had a break to visit booths and stuff. So of course we took the oppotunity to take more photos!
^The 5 of us, where's Wei Ting?! (Must be eating again. LOL)

^The balloon sculptures.
^Front: Me, Wan Ting, 2nd roow: Helen, Kash, 3rd row: Devi.

After the break, we headed for the hall for more concerts!

Up first was the Kranji Idol showdown! WOO HOO! Feng Ru got a standing ovation from all 4F! Go Mocky! Esmond was awarded the best upper secondary performance today though, but Feng Ru, you will win the most votes alright!

Afterwards it was the Secondary 2 Guitar competition. Yeah, one group actually sang out the F word (Boulevard Of Broken Dreams), so ya, 4th position to them.

Then it was the Dance Open catergory! ROCKS MAN!!!!!!! I loved the performance by Laura's group and our dearest Suren's group! WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH WOAH. Eat that lower sec! Haha. Great excitement from everyone there.

Costume parade was not as fun as previous years where many many many people came in costumes and costumes and more costumes. This year was so minimal. =(

Some primary school students came to our school to perform as well. Most of us were expecting them to dance chinese dance or something but nono, they danced Hip Hop! COOL. One of them was so adorable.

Alunmi joined in the fun too as they perform the Twist Lick Dunk song. Very cheery and jumpy!

That almost marks the end of the event. Prize presentation and we were off.

NCOS Study Session

Yup. After that I went back to slack and rest before heading out again to study with the NCOs (ANCO)! De Xian and Glenn were like so late, 1.5hours late to be exact. But it was pretty ok, at least I got some some work done. Moving on, Winston joined us! To be frank, I've never seen Winston although he's like our batch de. But the more the merrier! Shifted to outside Mac then continued my Physics TYS. Afterwards, all of us were like feeling so warm and decided to go to Starbucks. Glenn said that,"There's usually sofa and couches you can sit there in Starbucks". Apparently not in Northpoint's. We ended sitting outside of starbucks and people were like smoking there although there was so many NO SMOKING sign there. ARGH. I was like,"WA, after today maybe get lung cancer already!" Yes, I have a lot of prejudice against smokers. Don't sue me for that! Lin Qian popped by with us and we figured that she came with Tian Wen Sir. LOL. Went to Popular after that and ya, went back afterwards. Wanted to watch Transformers pretty badly but it was already 6.15pm!

I know this is such a dry and all-about-my-life post. SORRY PEEPS! I'm like speed blogging now can.

so come on, tell me.

School have reopened
Alrighty. Haven't been blogging much and I have yet to complete my post for my POPOPOPOP.
Maybe because there's still SJAB day tomorrow!

Besides that, I think after 2 days of school, I still can't seem to adapt. You know it's crazy. Today when I stepped into the canteen and I was like frantically looking for people whom I recognise! GOSH. It's like I was in ANCO camp, and I was looking for the rest of the NCOs. I was soooooooooo happy when I saw Yan Ying, my platooney de. It's creepy, I'm tellin' ya.

Btw, thanks a lot to Aisyah for making the peg for me and for the rest of platooney one! Remember to pass it to them during the next Platoon outing! Or you can be like Ndrew, go to each of their schools. Wahaha. (Inside joke)
so come on, tell me.

POPOPOPOPOP
*POP!

Finally I'm POP-ing!

POP POP POP!

Yup, after 4 long years of service in SJAB, I'm finally passing out. I've definately had a lot of tears, laughters, giggles, unhappiness and happiness in SJAB.

Now having a break before I go to Northvale for my passing out celebration part 2, BBQ. So decided to blog, partly for my Platooneys and just to kill time.

Thank you once again to all Sec 2 for organising this joyous occasion! If not for my flu, you probably see me running and jumping around! LOL. I'm nuts.

But apart from my POPOPOPOPOP, yesterday my dearest platoon had online convo again. So when is the next online convo? The night before school? Then we can chat throughout the night and I would be proud to show my classmates my eye bags I've gain from the late nights!

I think the flu virus is messing with my mind! Better log out now, till then, Ta-Ta (sauce)!

I can't believe I didn't even went shopping this holiday. The nearest I came to was speed shop at Bugis before I went for my SJAB meetings.

SAD SAD.

And oh! Platoon 1's having outing right now! May's going to kill me if she sees this because I told her that instead of going for the outing I was going to study! Enjoy guys! Take more photos!
so come on, tell me.

I haven't finish blogging about ANCO camp!
Gimme 1 more day!
But till then, I really don't wanna go back school. It's like I can get away from studies, stress and the rest of the world when I'm in camp! Haizz. Have to face reality again.

BOO!

ANCO 2007
Hey people you're one cool cat

You've got a little bit of this and a whole lot of that

So come on now and join the fun!

HANDS UP!

Alrightly, back from ANCO camp yesterday. This year I went as NCO to help up! NO LONGER A TRAINEE! It rocks being a NCO too. Now I shall blog from the view of a NCO.

DAY 1 [15/6/07]

We as NCOs had to fall in 1 hour earlier than the trainees. Checked into our '5* hotel' and got ready to 'welcome' the cadets. They had bag check and all the admin stuff and the camp begun. Day 1 wasn't really much at all. Lectures for them.

Ooo yeah. Elliot and I got to do the FIRST flag lowering! I think Poh Boon Sir nearly wanted to kill me for asking him so many question about the flag lowering. SORRY!

Next, my platoon, platoon 1 was in charge of the team building game. I went around to check it out before settling at Game 1 - Trust Fall. Wai Yinn's instruction was clear, "It's called trust fall because you trust your members and you fall". Haha. Poncho was definately not a good idea as after a few tries, the layers of ponchos were torn to beyond salvage. Hence, they used the gymnastics' mat instead.

At 9.45pm, everyone was called to fall in back. Supper, then we NCOs had meeting until 1+. We had the toliet too ourselves! Not exactly 'ourselves' though, Xiao Qiangs (not Wei Qiang Sir! I'm refering to the cockroach.) were there and Rach had to trapped them with the dustbin. You go girl!

Day 2 [16/6/07]

Oh yeah, Day 2 was probably the most hiong day.
Morning, the Cook House cheif chef had his learning point on Compassion. Everyone was made Blind Mute and Crippled, except for the Section and Meal I/C for that day! Wai Yinn was super cute when he multi-tasked and feed 3 people at one time! Sorry to Jian Nan. I was practically forcing the bread into his mouth. But he was so guai! He just sat there and choke the food down his throat. Sorry! And Oh ya! I drank 2 cups of tea for that morning! ^^

Afterwards, we had an urban hike! Platoon 1 and 3 merged to form Group 1! Covered probably 18 clicks? I really regret not helping the officers by stepping out more often, rather than standing within Platoon 1 only. Had a mini break at the Punggol jetty and carried on back to Holy Inncocent High. Finally reached back HIHS! We were the first group to arrived! Yipee! Had time to discussed about campfire. Afterwards, the cadets proceeded for their communication skills lecture while the rest of the section NCOs had a talk with Mdm Yu Lin. She rocks man, taught us motivated us to push the cadets. Slacking time's over mates.

Night activity was cool! Although there was some interruptions during the activity, it still rocks! Haha. I only joined in one of the games because Elliot and I were doing the cadets' DA (DailyAssessment) and Sir Jia Hong was telling us all the juiciest gossips! WAHAHA.

Hiking Group 1 had to stay back and sign extra because they left the FA kit and Stretcher and didn't stay close with each other. As usual, we had NCOs+ Officers meeting until the wee hours.

Day 3 [17/6/07]

Wow. The officers actually gave us until 8am to sleep! Yipee. I guess Day 3 was the easiest day for all Section NCOs. We just let all our "babies" go for MOI and OOA presentation while we went to SPACE and slack! I can't believe Lin Qian And Glenn could actually take out their hwk and do! Mdm Mah, don't say I neglect you. I took math notes to camp! Woo Hoo. Read a lil before all of us cannot ta han and started crapping! We actually prepared a skit for the cadets to let them see how they actually behaved! LOL. Let me summarise the skit:

1) Everyone did not know how to right dress and do pumping.
2) Where's your apple? All points to adam's apple.

Where's your banana? Male: Looks down. Female: Looks at male *ahem*.

Siu Ying, "But I dun have banana!"

3) Everyone saw NCO and keeps looking for their wrist band, frantically.
4) Shouts Fall-in as "Bor-ing"!

5) Officer shouts, "Drag somemore!" Then cadets really dragged even more.

6) Daryl's Ha-choo incident!

Wahaha. We also had a cool cheer by Reuben.

Afterwards, Sir Jia Hong gave Elliot and I instructions to change into our new camp shirt (proudly designed by MAY MAY) and help our section with their skit! Brian, thanks a lot for bringing the TEDDY!

This year's campfire was slightly very different compared to last year. YUP. I've got to say that Brian should be awarded the Best Vocalist. LOL. TooCW, you better watch out too! I didn't know that his acting skills have reached to this level! LMAO.

After that they had this Beauty Pageant. Platoon 1 managed to "hire" models Reuben and Aiden.
It was freaking funny! Reuben and Aiden Sir both dressed until so sexy, balloon boobs, and mini mini skirts! Other teams included Sir Hakim and De Xian who had excess boobies. Wei Xiang Sir and Glenn had the most realistic boobies! MAN! But in the end Platoon 1 was crown Beauty Queens! Woo Hoo.

As usual we had NCOs + Officers meeting at Operation Rm after sending the cadets to sleep. It was especially long that night as there was lots to settle and I didn't bathe after that! To make up for my slackiness! HEHE. Sorry Lin Qian who had to bear with my smelliness.

Day 4 [18/6/07]

It was finally the last day! We had fire drill at approx 4.30am. No one actually came into our bunks and called us up, but most of us were alert enough to hear their echos. The male NCOs, on the other hand, was not as alert. They were happily dozing in their bunks! In the end Sok Ting and myself went up to wake them up. After stand by bunk check, which lasted less than a hour, they were made to sleep again.

Had area cleaning, as usual. I was put in charge of the flexi 2 (lecture room) and everyone managed to clean the school by 1030! Good job everyone!

Passing Out Ceremony was next. P1 Best Trainee went to EDMUND! Congrats! P2 was AMELIA! P3 was Wan Ting and P4 was Ting Xing! P4 gotten best platoon, sabotaged by Elliot and I. Then when Glenn represented his Platoon to take the award, he said, "I hate you guys!". SUPER FARNY! We didn't take it to heart of course.

For the rest of the trainees, all of you really did a good job and even if you guys didn't get best trainee or anything. For some reason my platoon probably had the lowest passing rate. BUT BUT BUT they so did not deserved to fail, I guess it's the before camp preparation? Don't give up still, because this is just the beginning!

Our last lunch for this camp rocks my socks! They had this goody called the E' Clare and it's like super nice. It's like there's chocolate outside and inside it's really cooling cream. The Section NCOs started to Yam Seng with the E'Clare followed by the officers who grabbed their packet food and went, "YAMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM KAH-MENG!" LMAO!

There was debrief by CCO Jane, I meant Wei Wen. He said if the course could guess correctly which section had the best proposal for the Zone Telematch, he would release them immediately. To my surprise, the course chose Section 1! LOL. Thank you for all your support ah, but sorry it was Section 7!

Took lots of photos after that. With officers and platooneys. =D

After Besurai, it was officially end of ANCO!

P.S: To all NCOs, we must so organise a get-together and study group and call ourselves: MugNCOs.

PP.S: I'm from Kranji HIGH. LOL!

P.P.P.S: Please inform me if I've left out anything significant. Memory getting rusty after the 13hrs of sleep.

Taxi-Sick!
Went for platoon meeting today again. It ended earlier than expected so May, Si Min and I hiked to Bugis. Rushed back to HQ again for ANCO meeting with the officers. Haizz. The good news was, we had 'free' dinner! We only started eating like 9pm at the steamboat restaurant beside HQ. Ok quite nice la. Here's a photo of it:
Look nice huh? Time really flew and I didn't even realised that by the time we ate finish, it was already 10.15pm! ARGH! So Sir CS, Mdm Xin Yan, Rach and I decided to hail a cab. -BAD IDEA!- We waited until 11pm before a kind taxi uncle was willing to stop for us! WOO HOO! So reached home at around 11.30pm and gotten a really really really baddddddddddd car sick. EEK. Feel like sobbing because tomorrow morning still have to go Holy Innocent for recee (it's at Hougang!)
=(
P.S: What an expensive dish it was, actually. Haha.

Zinc-licious
Lots' to blog today but I've only got 30 mins to blog. before my 7pm Channel 8 drama starts.
Let's get the ball rolling!!!

New Zinc Bag.
Yes. It's the same model as May, Amelia Aisyah etc etc and probably a thousand other people out there. I know you are probably wondering, "When did Christine get so cliche?!" I probably would then answer it's budget and the lack of time to go shopping. So ya, after I went home with my new RED zinc bag, I saw my NDP bag and realised an uncanny resemblance. Man. I spent a good 26 bucks on a bag that looks like the bag which I got for free? Sheesh...

Take a look:

NDP bag:

Alright, maybe it's not that similar.
Ok let's move on to something more serious.
Worker Abuse
Ok I'm obviously not those who keeps track of the news so any news that reaches me must be huge. And so this horrifying news about somewhere in China, some villagers or something gotten cheated to work as slaves. They were somehow drived to a place and were made to work 20hrs a day, 15mins for their meals. So how long are they given to sleep and gear up for their next torturous day? You do the math. (Hint: There's only 24hrs a day) And the saddest news is, they can't even bathe! Man. When the workers were found, it had already been a year since their unfateful day.
Moral of the story: Human are really selfish and cruel. =(
Someone: Oh come on bring on the entertainment!
Me: Ay ay captain!

Inmate 9818783
Yes. I'm sure all of you have heard about Paris' Jail episode. Well, I just have one question about it, what would she become when she's released from the cage? Back to clubbing and flirting with boys? Or is she going to go call emo? Or maybe she's going to join the police force! Now, this I can't wait. 40 over more days to go! FREE PARIS!

ANCO
Alrighty. It's St John's time. Haha. Few more days to Advance NCO camp. Going as senior NCO this year. But still need to put in a lot of effort before going for the camp, for example, attending meetings (officer&platoon).
Meet my platooneys!

(They are shy ain't they?)

and oh! Aisyah brought me a balloon but I end up, not realisingly, let the balloon off! Sorry aisyah! Next time no waste money buy balloon already!

(Balloon: I'm flying to the mooooooonnnnn!)
so come on, tell me.
