LEADERS' DAY 2007.Gosh. This year's was awesome. I don't know if it's because this is the only year (apart from Secondary 1 I suppose) I was able to enjoy the performances going on in the hall. For the past couple of years I've been struggling with the bordom at the classroom blocks where we were "quarrantine". I never knew the reason why.
It was faboo when our Guest of Honour, founder of 77th Street (yes, the punk shop) came and brought so much entertainment to the event! There was a rapper, Chita'B! and a street dancer! OMG. Imagine, break-dancing infront of Mdm Lee. Wa hoo! It was so much fun. Afterwhich she showed us some videos which was so great. Wei Shan and I were screaming with excitement.
Afterwards it was the prize giving ceremony time. Wei Shan was like, "I really hope we get to take the cert from Elin Chew!" I noded in agreement. Shi Hong was like rehearsing how he's going to pose when he goes up the stage. And I hate wearing beret! All of us (of the same beret material) did. Wei Shan's wish really came true! The GOH was going to present us the cert! GOSH! I could almost not contain my happiness. Alright, I sound exaggerated. After receving the Best Cadet cert, I went back to my seat (technically speaking it wasn't my seat but to keep peace, I had to sit at Tian Feng's seat). I LOVED the choir performance. I was waiting for it the whole night. Yes, Yan Ting if you are reading this your hardwork have paid off. Definately a hair standing experience, get your tickets for SYF showcase on 1st June at the new Republic Polytechnic. HEHE.
P.S: Sok Ting I'm sorry, somehow your camera's batt went flat and Wei Shan and I definately did not cam whore at all! =(
