Meet-The-Scientists
How time flies. It had been over a week since I last blog. I shall skip about lesson time but rather blog about my trip to BIOPOLIS to Meet-the-Scientist!

Yep. Mdm Normala told us about this event about a week ago. So 14 of us signed up for it. Initially, we had a late start due to the rain. Settled the umbrella problem, and headed for CCK MRT. Coincidently, we bumped into TF who called in sick for school today. Apparently, he went to comics connection to buy the DEATH NOTE notebook! Re-acting the killing scene at the MRT huh?

When we reached the shuttle bus area, Ammar found out that the next bus was coming at 4.30pm. The best thing was, the talk starts at 3.30pm. It was approximately 3.10pm then. Luckily Sean knew the way or something and brought us there! Not that far actually. Phew. The buildings were really nice and clean. A little like ghost town actually. Finally, we reached the 4th level. Took our attendance and went into. Ok, we were like sitting among a sea of genius. Raffles, Hwa Chong, Nanyang, you name it, were all there. Worst of all most of them were JCs! I think we were the odd ones out. The talk was quite interesting, especially the Japanese scientist! I couldn't control my laughters when he started to pronouced those SJOOWKOHOI kind of words (i.e. Unreadable words).
It was a pity that none of us brought a camera. Diounx.
so come on, tell me.

Chinese New Year
Alright. I haven't have the time to blog since Valentine's day mainly because blogging comes after my meals, my computer games, my serial dramas' addiction and my other donkey things to do. Therefore, it has been awhile.

Chinese New Year celebration in school was awesome! The first event was the class decoration competition. I would post up the photos as soon as I get it from Ammar. The Gold outside our class looks superb too - a combination of my idea and great execution of work from my members. When pigs fly is when you enter our class! LOL. Ammar came out with the idea of pigs on the celling since it's the pig's year. However, sadly, we gotten 1st runners up for it. Lost 4D again!

In the hall, we saw a Lion Dance performance (I preferred last year's though) and Mongolia dancers. Yeah, it was quite cool and I'm sure the school spent a bomb on it.

Went back to DLSS with Yan Ting, Kashmeena and Devi. We toured Devi, since she wasn't from DLSS. Didn't see many from our batch but we kept ourselves busy by visiting the teachers, our classrooms and took photo with Mr Cheng! I won't want to make this a wasted trip again.

Chinese New Year - Out with parents.

Yeah. Every year's the same I guess. Visiting aunts' places. Eat the same food. Get Ang Baos. Yeah that's about it, although I hope that I could talk more to my cousins.
so come on, tell me.

It's Valentine's Day again.
I've decided to keep today's post short. Happy Valentine people. Couples, don't be late for your date. Bachelor and Bachelorette, try to enjoy yourself.

This is so stale. I'm really sorry if I can't appreciate Valentine as much as some people do. Maybe 10 years down the road I would.
so come on, tell me.

The true meaning to be a First Aider
Went to watch our school's Badminton "B" boys before heading home after Physcis IP coaching. I love to watch the doubles by Mr Diver and Mr Butt smacker (sorry, I do not know your names)! It's really entertaining to watch, especially when I was pretending to be the commentator. =P

I finally remember what a first aider is. I take back what I said last friday. I eat my words. No matter how angry or irritated I am by a person/organisation, I am still a SJAB member. To preserve life, to prevent further injury and to promote recovery. It is the initial assistance before the arrival of an ambulance/doctor/ qualified personnel! That was real childish of me to stay in the badminton court last friday. That's it, I'm going to end here.
so come on, tell me.

New Year Celebration
Okie dokie. I haven't blog like since forever. Yesterday had New Year Celebrations, organised by my dear secondary 3s. At the same time, we welcomed the new Secondary 1s into the family! I was the leader for group 5. My member: Ying Ying and Su Min (Sec 2s); Kelvin, Joel, Jing Wei and Yong Jie (Sec 1s)
Officer: Sir CK (aka Chicken boy!)

We started off playing double whacko! Manz. I failed to defend Rachel and Mariz. I'm sorry! But I know you guys like getting wet! LOL. Geraldine became the favourite victim! She was drenched after the game.
The next game was some chicken ostacles game. Firstly, we had to dress up our Senior NCO/Officer into a chicken. Yes, our chicken boy had long chest hair! Afterwhich, we have to crawl through some obstacles with 4 eggs/group. When every reach the end point, we had to get a hula hoop across everyone.
Next, we move on to community singing. Forfeits for Sir Shen Yang! Banana dance! Forfeit for Sir Shen Yang and Sir CK! Father abrahen! Forfeit for no reason - Staff JY, Sir CK and 2 random sec 1 victims! Skip around the parade square.
Afterwhich, we had to play this fish net game. We had to create our fish net using newspaper, scrotch tape and masking tape. The aim was to build a strong fish net and to destroy other teams' fish net! Everyone's net practically was demolish within 1 minute. LOL. 10 mins of hard work, for 1 minute of fun!

Prize presentation: Beatrice group gotten the most Enthusiastic award; Sok Ting's group gotten the Best Friend award; Sze Him's group gotten best teamwork; Rachel's group 2nd runners' up; Wei Ting's group 1st-runner up. That leavcs with my group - THE CHAMPION! But the prize wasn't to my taste, it was cheezo.

Lunch was nice. The pudding was great (THANK AISYAH!). The orange juice was way nicer than IFAC. Also, the male officers chip in to buy the whole core a Valentine's cake! Haha.

Spring cleaning. Aiyooooooooooooo. I can't even clean my group, how to clean SJAB room? LOL. My lungs were choke with dust. But luckily I have 2 hardworking members, Su Min and Ying Ying once again.
It was hilarious when Sir Kenneth, Sir CK and Sir SY was "transporting" the blue sofa down the 1st floor! They literally threw the sofa down! They used the rock climbing method by tying a rope on it and slowly release the rope down. I was the "rope manager"! Belayer am I on belay?
Hope the new arrangement is a better feng shui for us!

Some of Geraldine's good friend organised for her a secret birthday party! I think she was very touched! She must have gone home to cry. LOL.
