Had FDI (Footdrill Instructor) selection yesterday and it was tiring!
We took Rachel's father's lorry (RDL) to HQ again and it was damn windy and fun! LOL. So we reached there on time and the officers were late! It officially started at around 10.45am? When we were asked to be there by 10.30am. Oh well. We were told that we would be commanded by the FDI candidates (Officers) and I was like "Yippee! Only do footdrill ah?". But there's always a BUT in Sir Derrick's sentence.
The squad was a pathetic number of 9. The first officer who came out to teach us was Wei Qiang Sir (ANCO). He was us teaching slow march. Not bad for the first one. Afterwards we saw Sir Kenneth, Sir Shen Yang, many many more. Most of them taught us the sammme thing, which was, Sllllllowwwww March (Or low march ah, Sir SY?). Lunch was quite delicious - Chicken Rice + Soya Bean! Got free lunch good le. After lunch then it was the NCOs' turn! Oh gawd, we were so nervous. (SH and I were asking for Shin's good wishing!) WAKAKA. ST was up first, very smooth and fast. Same goes for Rachel, Sze Him and myself. It was only about 4pm can we finally call it a day! Damn shag after a whole day of basic drills. It's like the Sec 1 days, when we were younger and more energetic. Now feel like ah ma le.
Upon boarding onto RDL, we saw Wan Jun and she was waiting for Sir Kenneth and Sir SY. I was reluctant for Rachel to fetch Sir Kenneth because, "The lorry will waste a lot of petrol". HEHE. No offence hor.
Anyways, I'm taking so long to blog this that the FDI selection results are out, all NCOs have PASSED!
