Teachers' Day 2006
Today is Teachers' Day and it kind of rocked!
Ok went to school in time and was hanging around. Bad weather programme, proceeded to the canteen for Aces day workout. It ROCKS MAN! I loved it.
Para para in out in open roll. After which I had to help out in the prefects stuff in giving out roses. It was pretty. Then the concert kicked off by the band. Band shook the house man! It was cool to see the them finally, moving. There was also a performance by ELDDS and credits goes to Doreen for writing the script. Then it was the 2 dance group. Followed by Prabra, Kheh Hong and their instructor's performance!!! IT WAS THE BEST MAN!!! HAHA. Their instructor was damn GOOD Prab and Kheh Hong were excellent too! Ok enough of praising, let's moving on to class party.
I took many photos of my classmates...
Foreground: Natasha and Muneera. Background: Sean
3F Girls!
3F Guys!
(What's up with Zi Yang? Hyperactive.)
Syarif: Ms Lee you talk too much! Cover you mouth.
Who stole the pizzas from the pizza box?
WanTing, Helen and Kashmeena: Who me?
Christine: Yeah you.
WHK: Couldn't be!
After all the partttying and giving of presents to my teachers, we (Kashmeena, Beatrice, Wei Ting, Yan Ting and Evelyn) went back DLSS! WAAAAAHOO! Haha. I was super enthu when WT receive a sms from Xin Hui. DLSS' sidegate was flocked with Kranjians. Grabbed a bowl of Chicken porridge with Xin Hui and Kash. YUM! Hanged around DLSS until more people came. I was stoning at the entrance. Then this bunch of SJI peeps came in. It was nice to see them in a way, on the other hand, I talked to none of them. I was shocked to see Nicholas Pee! OLEH! A few "celebs" didn't make their appearance though. Clarissa came at 12.30pm. June came too! Oh gawd. Missed her so much! Didn't chat much, don't know why felt like I've got nothing to catch up with them.
Tilt your head to see Yan Ting missing James.
The second half of the day got forlorn. It was awfully boring. I was bored to the extent of sitting at the steps and watch the SJI guys play some rugby game. Regretted not taking more photos of the school, for this might be the last time I'm returning to DLSS. I think I've given up hope. There's no more fun in there...
so come on, tell me.

Passing Out Parade Ceremony 2006 cum SGT Promotion!
POP 2006 was planned by our dear BNCO cadets.
First we fall in and take attendance then we were splited into groups (Ok. I'm sorry if I'm grouchy at first because it's like so many Sec1s. Luckily Sze Him joined! But, my group don't have Sec4/5
leh.)
Went to Limbang Park first, then we played Aisyah's game by crossing the bridge. Thingy. Collected all the envelope and we memorised all the clues to all our checkpoints. We had to do a video for our seniors as well. Ok I turn out to look like a moron again. WAKAKA.
Second checkpoint was at Yew Tee park and I'm like "Kill me mommy!". It's so far! Yan Ying and Wan Lin were waiting for us and it was alright. We had to tie our legs all together and hands as well. We crossed water bombs without bursting it (yay!) and we have to blow this pile of flour which has a hidden ping-pong ball inside it. Sze Him and I were like, *Tries to blow* and burst out in an uncontrollable laughter "HAHAHA". Jun Wei was good at it man! After which we had to solve some IQ puzzle.
Guess what? Our next checkpoint was CCK park! Just shoot me man! It's like we are going zic zac. I know TingTing (my group) enjoyed "run" there. Saw May Koh there. She was evil. Wanna see a horny version of Banana Song. Sorry
la, we not horny enough. Too worn out already. Then we made some disgusting balloon and that was about it. We headed for the 4th checkpoint and it was the best checkpoint man! LOL. It was at the basketball court near KSS but there was a group of teens playing BBall. Hong Lip first asked us the 1 star questions. We were the only team who could answer all the questions! Then 2 stars followed by the 3 stars. We gotten 19 shots! COOL MAN. Felt so honoured when a hunk picked up my hairband (which apparently dropped without knowing). =)
Was forced to go back to school half-way the game. (Had to say bye to Number9! LOL) Had some commotion and it was lunch. Lunch was alright. Aisyah's mom must have been so tired cooking for so many people! Then it was some cheering competition. My group was like errr hmmm. *Silent* Then it was promotion time! Was promoted to Sergeant! Weeee. Finally... Proceeded to AVA room after that. Had many prize ceremony and I finally gave my short speech. LOL. The short and sweet one. =D The PPT slides were very touching. I bet YH went home to cry
liao. LOL. She was strong today!
Went home and I dropped dead. So tired. My cough got very bad. Sigh.
so come on, tell me.

Most Miserable 45 minutes of my life.
It was the most miserable 45minutes of my life.
Look, 10 packets of tissue gone.
Look, 4 litres of water down my bladder.
Look, 3 litres of urine flushed down the bowl.
Look, 0.8 litre of mucus out my nose.
Look, o.2 litres of tears out my eyes.
Nope, it's not tears of joy nor sadness. It's the tiredness and weariness breaking down. The system is shutting down.
Nope, I refused to give up. I'm going to stay till the end.
Nope, it wasn't a wise decision, for it was the worst 45minutes of my life.
Nope, I haven't recover.
Nope, I won't go to school tommorrow unless I'm in pink of health.
so come on, tell me.

SJAB Flag Day 2006
I'm dead beat after a day of SJAB FLAG DAY.
Was located to stand at Yew Tee MRT (which is a conveniently 5 minutes walk from my place) with Si Min, Wan Lin, Yan Rong and Si Ying (Wa, first time I see all my juniors more enthu than me. LOL.) There were some Swiss students who were earlier than us (snatch business
liao!). First Si Min and I went to the bus stop to try our luck then the Wet Market then back to the bus stop. Yew Tee was not very hetic compared to areas like Boon Lay, Woodlands, Bukit Batok etc. Thus, the competition ultimately are less intense but the crowd is much less. Took lunch break at 11.15am to 12nn (LOL. We gave ourselves extra time!). Continued with the "begging". It was hard work. We had to have thick skin and everything. Hai. Later on Sir Kenneth and Sir Shen Yang came down to our side. They suggested High Tea (probably to make us slack!) so we took another break at 2pm. Took a bus to limbang and back to school. End of the day I think I've got 2 three-quarter filled tin and a pretty empty one.
A Survey done after standing outside NTUC for 8 hours (including breaks):
Middle Aged Ladies: 65%
Middle Aged Gentlemen: 50%
Young adults: 10%
Business Male and Female: 10%
Children: 80% (Donated by their parents)
Caucasians: 0.01%? (I did saw 1 Ang-Moh guy who nearly wanted to reach out to his wallet.)
So there you go! I think ALL parents should set a good example to their children by donating. It's cute when they always give their child the money to donate to get the stickers. Teenager wise, not much, other than those friends I saw (Nat, Fairuz and Mei Xin). Therefore I've decided to turn over a new leaf by donating more often. It's sad to know that there are people who do donate for the sake of getting that "amulet sticker" to prevent more harrassment from other SJAB members.
so come on, tell me.

NDP 2006
WOOTS! NDP 2006 has come to the end! I don't know to feel really exhilarated or to feel really sad because afterall it has come to the end of the long 3 months journey. The show went pretty well and I was happy (except of my loss of my Air Rifle badge! Let's hope some hunk found it, like the Drum Major or Commando or Navy or...).
Fall in at 8.50am inside HQ as it was raining outside. Took attendance and boarded onto the bus. Went SIS to slack after the bus made round and round, turns and turns to get there. Afterwhich we were called upon to do some training. Blah blah blah. Lunch was Food Industry, chicken, mash potatoes, cauliflower and some fried thingy with beans and carrots inside. Had a chocolate ice cream cone too. Went back in SIS to slack. Sang Wei Ting a birthday song (our dear Ms Singapore!) and Mdm Zahara and many more. Slacked somemore. Cheung Weng, Yong Ting, and a couple of other guys kept bullying our dear "Commander". Haha. He's just so cute! Took many many photos (but I think half of those photos have my head covered by Sir Kenneth. I HATE YOU MAN! Haha. Hai. Not even a photo to acknowledge my presence). So blah blah blah. 5 plus and we made our way to the National Stadium. Did some cheers combine with NPCC. FUN! First time SJAB and NPCC can click man. LOVE IT! I'll miss you guys! Woa. I started to panicked when the button of my gloves came off when we were about to go in! Luckily Poh Wei helped and my glove managed to held it together long enough. The parade itself was a success. LALALA. Went back HQ and many cried (I was cold blooded, but you can't blame me
mah.. I could be going to Ncamp tommorrow you know.) Reached home rather late today.
so come on, tell me.

Life as we know it. [Part I]
Life as we know it. Part 1
Everyday when your alarm clock starts to ring, you snooze it, and tune back to your sleep. And you thought 5 minutes is all you need. However, before you knew it you are 50 minutes late! You had intended to wake up 1 hour earlier to complete your pile of homework which you did not manage to finish last night and gave in after a tiring day. Then you began to question yourself, were you really exhausted or simply too bored and lazy and unmotivated to work at all. You simply had to put aside all those last minute thoughts because it’s not going to turn back time and you have barely complete studying for your Common Test later today. 10 minutes of mugging, 5 minutes of reading while you are brushing your teeth, 10 minutes of memorising in your father’s car. You walked into school and pray for the test to be cancelled like the Math test you were suppose to have last Friday. You cannot concentrate during lesson and tried to sneak a few peeks at your notes under the table. You were lagging behind your classmates who were all listening attentively to the teacher. You are flunking during lesson and the test. But you never believe that last minute work won’t help, because sometimes it does, or does not. It’s a game of gamble you won’t have to play if you had not return back to wonderland in the first place or if you have not been so caught up in other activities the day before. It’s recess time, which means it’s not a time for relaxation but rather, a time for you to rush through all the notes and somehow get them into your head under high pressure. The bell goes and the invigilator comes in. Luck wasn’t on your side. The test was not cancelled or postpone. You did the test with much difficulty and came out of the classroom with no sense of accomplishment. In your mind you said, “I’m sure I can do better next time!” but at the back of your head cried, “You are so going to lose to your darn classmates! Even if you are going to do well for the next test, except that they and they’ve won you like a 1 time with 6 zeros behind!” You are feeling lazy again. Or maybe down with slight flu. Sleep is all you need again. You tried eating lots of carbo for energy but simply not burning it and it’s all accumulating in your tummy. Motivation is all you need but it’s not coming from anyone else but yourself. Always expect the unexpected. After school, your fellow prefects need help in a project and found yourself involve in it. You had to stay back and participate in some boring meeting which requires you to kill your brain cells. The meeting ended 2 hours later. It’s late afternoon already and your low energy level is scooping lower. You make your way home alone or with your friend, hoping to meet some cute guy to brighten up your day. It seems hopeless though. You reached home and tried to get going with the Math homework which you never seemed to get it. Why do others get it so easily? It’s so unfair. All you do is to moan and groan and copy it the next day. Half-way completing your English Assignment, 1 of your CCA member called and discuss with you the training schedule. Suddenly, a bolt of unwillingness hit you. Is this all worth it? Yes. You are really glad that you’ve managed to climb to the top and became what you call a leader. But a title always comes with a price to pay. You get angry with the officer and grumble to yourself again. You have no one to consult to. You are crying out loud in your heart but it sounds so silent in the open. It’s 9pm and you are getting sleepy. You tried to continue reading your Biology (yes, another test!) but chose to turn into bed instead. Before you knew it it’s a new morning and the cycle of stress begins again.
so come on, tell me.
