HELLO people. I know it seems like I haven't been updating my blog for a long time but on actual fact I do have a VERY LONG and draggy post on my OBS camp (which I'm still typing). Yes but first, I shall entertain you guys with what happened yesterday.
I was LATE for fall in at 6.30am. I know it's embarrassing and I'm very really truly sorry about it. My carelessness of forgetting to bring my beret was a huge mistake. Hope you will forgive me. Brief the squad and did sizing. Formed up at the parade square. It was SJAB day cum NCC day. NCC formed up their squad about 5-10mins later. The students were streaming in and 7.15am, it was time for Yan Hsiang (ex-CSM, Staff Sergeant). Tralala. I just loved the part when Yan Hsiang command (both SJAB and NCC with her drill cane) and I hated the flies which kept tickling my leg. Sheesh. Yan Hsiang said the Singapore pledge, NCC recited their NCC pledge, Ms Tan made her speech, Ms Yong made her speech. Blah blah blah. Everything was about 20 mins long. Took photos, as usual and went back to class.
Ms Ho didn't come today! Yipee!
After school, wasted pretty much time deciding on stuff. In the end I had to rushed like a bullet and got back school at 3.05pm. The prefects haven't left for Ngee Ann Poly so I went for a brief NDp briefing. Boarded onto the bus 1/2hour later. NO blazer for me today. BOO HOO HOO. Haha. On the bus ride crapped a lot with Rachel, Rashidah and Faza. Haha. Reached the auditorium and stuff. The hall was grand, very pretty. Was assigned to be the mobile patroller. Basically my job was to usher the people in and call them to sign the registration thingy and take a seat. Dinner was also provided but I didn't eat much. About 5.30pm, people were already coming. I was doing the "
Ang Mo" (caucasion) slang welcoming but Rashidah thinks that it's simply
"hen nan ting" (very awful in chinese). Laura, Si Min and her friend really shocked me! OMG! They are like 20 odds, ready to go clubbing. WAHAHA. Tip to all the girls, if you are wearing a skirt and a guy calls you to go to him for no reason, remember to check the floor. Because at the hall there, it happens that the black tiles were like mirror, so you know...
I managed to watch a little of the play and the choir and the band and the dance. However, most of the time I was at the hall ushering the late comers and carrying stuff. Afterall I was there for duty and not to watch the play FOC. Packed up and lingled around before the arrival of the bus. Reached home rather late and there's still so much things to do!
