NDP 2006 Preview
NDP 2006 Preview rocks!

We managed to fall in punctually!

Holding area was at Singapore Indoor Stadium. YEPPIE! It's like super cooling in there.

The first trail was alright. Nothing much except that the dressing was slightly off.

Lunch was food industry's fish burger with wedges and beans. My food overturned suddenly out of carelessness. HAHA. Yuan Ting was like, "Those who sit beside me always spill their food. Last time was Josephine, this time is you."

Rest a little longer until it's break time. Ate ice cream and lots of crackers.

5.30pm, proceeded to National Stadium. We also started to keep ourselves busy with cheers! I've never liked cheering this much. HAHAHA. Let me tell you why:
1) We were bombing and Vincent Ng came out! He's so hawt (but I dislike his character) and he's painted in gold! Hawted! Woa. Best 6 pecs man.
2) We were bombing again after some cheers and Kallang waves and this is the story...
Once upon a time, there lived a girl called Christine. She met all the Singapore Idol finalists and screamed like crazy. Paul Twohill came out with his hair no longer covering his face. Finally Christine saw his eyes and his met hers. It was love at first sight (HAHAHAH!). She was so high to the extend of leaving her seat and hugged PAUL TWOHILL and JASMINE. After which she shook hands with Jasmine again. Everything was happening so fast. At that moment she thought, "I don't want to bathe tonight man". And Christine lives happily ever after. The end.

During the parade, something's wrong with today's preview! OMG! We didn't mess up like this before, let alone infront of thousands and thousands of people! AHHH! Let's hope that history won't repeat itself.
so come on, tell me.

The 4 Seasons
MISS Lee says that I should start blogging on more mature topics. Well, I can try, but do pardon my random rants and childish thoughts. Afterall I'm still 15. WAHAHA.

I was reading the Archie Comics a moment ago
It was a story of Little Archie and his friends having a Snowball Fight in school.
It must be great to be young and be able to experience snowy weather (except for drivers of course)
Almost everyday in Singapore the weather is scorching hot! Pimples starts popping, throats get parched and sweating just keeps dripping down the forehead. Most students carry their heavy work load and trudge their way back home. Boring eh? However, no doubt we can have fun at the same time. But the 'fun' varies. In America, perharps their fun is to shop under their endless malls (to shop for their "school uniform") or play with snow or simply dig into a Chocolit shop. In Singapore, our fun is to shop in Orchard Road, Bugis or Suntec (which apparently sells the same thing as mentioned in today's Straits) or we bake under the great hot sun and get a nice tan or simply dig into a Kopitam and find the cheapest Chicken Rice. Haha. It's a great difference although it sounds almost the same .

Ok. I'm so bor-ing myself by typing all these "mature thoughts". Shrugs. Shall think of better topics next time. Till then, see ya!
so come on, tell me.

SJAB is sucking the fun out of me
I think I'm getting more and more lifeless. Good news to all the sadist out there.

You are so sucking the fun out of me.

Jumped into a pool of regrets.
Good job Christine. Real good job.
so come on, tell me.

NDP - The case of Beatrice's agony
We all had a bad day.

Beatrice's heels dropped off in the middle of fall-in but Sir Hakim managed to fix it back. YAYNESS to Sir Hakim! Ok then we boarded onto the bus as usual and got back to our "sunny spot" at the National Stadium. Sat on the stairs which was so darn cramp. Went in for a few trials and I've got to say the Police contigent is sooo slack. I did saw many of the "macho" guys moving in the squad. Shrugs. They should put SJAB contigent in RowB instead of them. HAHA.
Lunch was SiamKitchen and it kinda don't rocks. In fact there was some problem with it. Don't feed us with Pineapple, it can be deadly! Mr Koh taught us some native cheers. We cheered and cheered (it's not very fun though) for quite some time. Afterwhich, we shit chatted for 1hour, before heading for our next practice. Blah blah blah.
Dinner was alright. Sponsered by Food Industry - Chicken, fish-fillet, mash potatoes and veggies.
Got ready at 6pm and proceeded down the alley. Slack there until 6.33pm when it's our show time (with no audience)! Something bad happened to BT at that time and I didn't notice it eventhough I'm just a person away. Stood for 1 hour and boarded the bus. Yeah.
Went back HQ and got to sit inside lecture room 2/3. I was called upon for some questioning and it's well... Shall not say it in detail but the bottomline is, I don't know if things are going to go as it is anymore in NDP. I mean it's like things are already as bad as it is and it's going to get worst. WHAT THE? That guy made a damn stupid mistake, stupid mistake.
so come on, tell me.

Cultural Fiesta Nite 2006
Cultural Fiesta Nite

Was assigned First Aider for the night along with Sok Ting, Beatrice and Siew Ling. I did NOT regret to go for the duty because I could run around and take photos like siao!

Manz, 3E's costumes were great. I admit defeated. Shrugs, I hate Mr Heng! He gave 3E so much financial support. BOO! Haha. I was so thrilled when I saw them (since 3/6 of them were ex-2Es) and took some photos with them.

They made me feel like I was in DisneyLand!

Love it!

From left: Mr Goh, Joshua, Rachel, Me and Kash. (All Ex- 1Es)

Ok. Our class's guitar boys did a good job on their performance except for the PA-crews, the mic did seem a little soft. Oh well. Then is was the Secondary 1's folkdance followed by the Secondary 2s.
Finally it was the street dance performance time! YIPEE! All of them look hawt and sexy!

Suren and Aishah look sizzling hot! HAHA. Great couple.

Really liked all the dances put up by different classes.

We had mass dancing as well so blah blah blah. Sir Kenneth, Shan Zhi, Shen Yang, Choon Siong (I didn't see him leh), Brandon and their friend You Dong came as well. Haha. Bet they are jealous of the new generation, get to learn Street Dance/guitar.

I didn't expect that there will be a casualty, but there were. I saw a girl aiding another girl to aid and I immediately went to her aid. The girl was suffering with stomach cramp and stuff so yeah, luckily her mom and brother was there and brought her home. CHRISTINE SAVES THE DAY! Haha.

Brought home a packet of chicken rice (courtesy of 3E) since I was starving! Overall I think that CFN rocks my sock off, eventhough 3F came in 2nd for guitar as well as dance.
so come on, tell me.

My hump, my hump.
Today during English lesson Miss Lee went through the Organic Food vs GM food comprehension again. Afterwhich she came across this idiom, "The last straw" and linked it up with, "The straw on the camel's back", something like this and somehow Kash and I were like, "Hey imagine the camels singing My Hump!". Now that's hilarious!

so come on, tell me.

NDP NE Show
NDP NE SHOW

Had NDP training again. Wasn't very keen on going today as I was really exhausted by so many on-goings around me and I'm really tired. Speaking of tired, I overslept and still went to polish my boots (bad idea). Which is why in the end I was late and the whole lot of us were late for fall in. It was the worst fall in ever, and I'm very sorry about it.
I was glad that we could rest in SIS since I wasn't feeling well (since yesterday). But today we had to do trails before lunch (shrugs). So the weather was hot and we stood there like status. Was bored again. Siting there and stoning. My face was written "TALK TO ME" all over. Lunch was Pizzahut (boo!) but luckily it came with 3 chicken drumsticks and a bread. I ate 6 drumsticks in total. Wahoo! It was hilarious when BB went to run in the parade ground when it was only for the GOH contigents to go in. HEHE. SJAB smart sia! Then when the BB boys returned we were like, "WOO HOO! Good job!". Hahaha. So funny.
Returned to SIS and slack again. 1 of the Z9 mdm got irritated with our slowwwww movement and made us sit up straight without any movement. I was like "ok, I have no comments as long as you let me rest". Coincidentally, it's Josephine and Mr Koh's birthday! Mr Koh even bought us sweets! He's great. It was also great to tease Josephine and Wei Ren. Finally got to talk to my section mate, Joan. Manz, I miss ANCO!
Dinner was KFC again and the media was around. The officers were choking us! 2 chickens, 1 cup of mash potato, 2 packet of drinks and a pear! OMG. My skirt was about to tear man! SO SO SO FULL. Overload. Haha.
About 5.40pm we set off to the National Stadium and I told Freddie a "secret". HAHA. If you need a lawyer, you need Christine. I was sooooooooooo elated when finally Josephine consult me about her Birthday bash. Haha. When you need a love consultant, you also need Christine.
6.30pm the siren rang. Everyone's wishing every good luck. There were indeed many many many P5 students. I'm like WOA. I always fail to keep my mouth close. Haha. There was something wrong with the PA system. But the I suppose the Primary school student won't know the difference. The Colour Parties were great (reminds me of COC) and I'm still thinking Navy cooler or the one with the maroon beret. Haha.

There were pretty fireworks!

We didn't get to do the Josephine and Wei Ren skit (awwww).
so come on, tell me.

First School NDP Rehearsal
Hey peeps. Had been a pretty long time since I last blog eventhough I come online everyday. Well today after school had SJAB training. First aid lesson for Sec 1s and some Footdrill lesson for the Sec2s. Did not make full use of the time. Oh well. Moving on, gathered everyone and did sizing. It was a wrong move. Then we just went rounds and rounds in and out. My boots and legs were splattered with mud. Shrugs. So dirty. Wasn't feeling too good at the later part of the rehearsal. My stomach was feeling uneasy. Lucily NDP rehearsal ended early due to CFN. So ya, my life's boring. I came to this close yesterday to make a new blog layout. WAHAHA.
Manage to catch a gilmpse of CFN performance. LOVED my class's dance. I really enjoy dancing, just that there's no one to teach me properly.
so come on, tell me.

NDP Family Preview
Sheesh. Suppose to watch Da Vinci Code with my Dad after the NDP family's preview today. Apparently, I only planned it myself (inside my head) and apparently, my Dad doesn't know how to read minds and he watched it before I came home! Anyways, let's backtrack a lil' to find out what happened.

Fall in at 9am (darn early. POOP POOP) and all the uniform inspection and stuff. I was so nervous for uniform inspection, because yesterday was public duty and I didn't even do anything to my uniform. My boots ain't polish, I had threads sticking out of my shirt and stuff. Sian. Then Sir Zhen Shun came to me (That time I was shaking already since he left a really fierce impression ever since ANCO =X). Suprisingly, all of those had no problems, just that my belt was "san-act" and my gloves was kind of sticking out and my hair can see a bit. I guess that's all. HAHA. Then blah blah blah. Got back to the 8 rows and boarded onto the bus.

Reached Kallang and today it was special. Our Army guide took us to the Singapore's Indoor Stadium! WOO HOO! Then I was like touching everything there and Beatrice was like, "What are you doing?!" and I was like, "Stenphanie Sun might have touched all these before!". It was pure joke only because I ain't a huge fan of her but oh well. Enjoyed air-condition there until it was lunch time. We had onion rings, red beans, a sasuage burger and 2 small pieces of chicken, courtesy of Singapore's Food Industry. After about 1/2hr it was time for trial again. Run in and out several times until 2.45pm and made our way back to the SIS. Slack again until dinner time. KFC's here! WAHAHA. It was nice of course. My crumbs kena ants attack. BOO! Ok so we went back to rest until about 5pm, we have to make our back to the National Stadium for the show. They did another uniform check but I wasn't very scared then, and I got a praise from SSS! How rare! Ok then blah blah blah. Finally we entered the gate again. I was peeping through the opening and saw some of the audience and thought,"Not a lot people leh. It's not even completely filled up!" Things changed a lot. Darn. I was like WTH, the WHOLE stadium was filled with people wearing red and white! AHHH! Then I nervous liao. Things got worse when I can't seem to find the marking on the floor but luckily we found it in the end. Stood there for 1 hour and made our way back, 'how grand is that?'

Justin Mai is SO NOT COOL.

My parents went! WOO HOO!
so come on, tell me.

Colours of Asia
HELLO people. I know it seems like I haven't been updating my blog for a long time but on actual fact I do have a VERY LONG and draggy post on my OBS camp (which I'm still typing). Yes but first, I shall entertain you guys with what happened yesterday.

I was LATE for fall in at 6.30am. I know it's embarrassing and I'm very really truly sorry about it. My carelessness of forgetting to bring my beret was a huge mistake. Hope you will forgive me. Brief the squad and did sizing. Formed up at the parade square. It was SJAB day cum NCC day. NCC formed up their squad about 5-10mins later. The students were streaming in and 7.15am, it was time for Yan Hsiang (ex-CSM, Staff Sergeant). Tralala. I just loved the part when Yan Hsiang command (both SJAB and NCC with her drill cane) and I hated the flies which kept tickling my leg. Sheesh. Yan Hsiang said the Singapore pledge, NCC recited their NCC pledge, Ms Tan made her speech, Ms Yong made her speech. Blah blah blah. Everything was about 20 mins long. Took photos, as usual and went back to class.

Ms Ho didn't come today! Yipee!

After school, wasted pretty much time deciding on stuff. In the end I had to rushed like a bullet and got back school at 3.05pm. The prefects haven't left for Ngee Ann Poly so I went for a brief NDp briefing. Boarded onto the bus 1/2hour later. NO blazer for me today. BOO HOO HOO. Haha. On the bus ride crapped a lot with Rachel, Rashidah and Faza. Haha. Reached the auditorium and stuff. The hall was grand, very pretty. Was assigned to be the mobile patroller. Basically my job was to usher the people in and call them to sign the registration thingy and take a seat. Dinner was also provided but I didn't eat much. About 5.30pm, people were already coming. I was doing the "Ang Mo" (caucasion) slang welcoming but Rashidah thinks that it's simply "hen nan ting" (very awful in chinese). Laura, Si Min and her friend really shocked me! OMG! They are like 20 odds, ready to go clubbing. WAHAHA. Tip to all the girls, if you are wearing a skirt and a guy calls you to go to him for no reason, remember to check the floor. Because at the hall there, it happens that the black tiles were like mirror, so you know...
I managed to watch a little of the play and the choir and the band and the dance. However, most of the time I was at the hall ushering the late comers and carrying stuff. Afterall I was there for duty and not to watch the play FOC. Packed up and lingled around before the arrival of the bus. Reached home rather late and there's still so much things to do!
so come on, tell me.
